Isabella Augusta, Lady Gregory 1852-1932
Born in Roxborough, Co. Galway, she was one of the leading figures of the Irish Literary Revival, founding the Abbey Theatre in 1904 together with W. B. Yeats. Along with her successful plays, her translations of Irish mythology, “Cuchulain of Muirthemne” (1902), are considered most influential.
Created and printed in Dublin, Ireland, with the support of UNESCO Dublin City of Literature it is a perfect card for lovers of books and Irish legends and culture.
